1st Lieutenant Paul L. Schwartz is forever memorialized in Jean Shepherd’s 1983 holiday classic, A Christmas Story. He is believed to be the same Schwartz who yelled “I Triple-Dog-Dare ya!” in the story’s memorable frozen flagpole scene.
